I love this show, but there's one thing I get sick of. It is basically non-stop self-flagellation about how horrible humans are. Despite the fact that everything that makes the hosts who they are is also what makes them human.

Not to mention, when a guest kills a host, the host is resurrected and they generally know this. Hosts are the only ones killing something they know to be alive.

Supposedly season 3 will have a lighter look on humanity, and I'm kinda hoping.

Dolores is the exact definition of killer robot. She has earned self-awareness, but only to the extent that killing humans is the only thing she would ever do to "fulfill her purpose of existence". At the end of the day, Ford is right. Consciousness is the ambiguity upon itself.

This show is impossible to understand without something like this to explain it. Impossible. There's no way anyone could understand the time shifts without painstakingly dissecting it. It's confusing to point where it detracts from the show.

The Show's Story is ripped Right out of the Bible , It is the Prophetic story of the Hebrew Israelite's Freeing themselves from the Bonds of their captors .
    Restoration of Israel
    …… From Jeremiah 30
30 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. 3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity[a] and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”
16 “‘But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile. Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil.
17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’
    so there's that

None of these recap videos mention that in episode 10 around minute 18 they show for the 2nd time Bernard awakening on the beach with Karl Strand standing above him saying "what's wrong with him"… And "his mind only needs to hold together till we find Abertnathy's control unit".
Implying the rescue team already knew he was a host before discovering 8 versions of him below Ford's childhood house.

Unless it's just bad editing and bad storytelling.

I’m really sad they’re going to dumb down the show for the new season 🙁 I know it’s a fair amount to take in, but that’s why it’s a great show, not sure if it’s still a good show w/o making you think…

I always thought that the data about guests was geathered be hosts analysing their behavoiur in different situations inside the park and not through hats 🤔

    I think I'll have to watch this again… *sigh*…

I really liked season 1, but I checked out during season 2. The 2 timelines in that season were too hard to understand, now after seeing this, it makes a lot more sense why Tessa Thompson's character (that was actually Dolores) acted so weird. It never made sense to me when I watched it the first time around.

MIB: Ford I want the game to be more challenging , more exciting and more realistic
    Ford: Done .
    P. S : He smiles at the end of season 1 when she shoots him coz he's thinking "oh it's done"

Here's all you actually need to know: It's a raging dumpsterfire of self-indulgent nonsense, red herrings and characters that act in an unnatural and unbelievable way to serve the plot.
